Regional Judging Criteria
Criteria for Judging Region 8 Regional Meets in 2004
Your Region 8 Board is committed to having the best prepared judges at all regional competitions. In order to be eligible to judge a Region 8 Regional meet in 2005 a judge must satisfy the criteria listed in the Rules and Policies and the regional criteria listed below. For all regional meets in 2005 the Region 8 USAG Board will again require each judge to have in-gym experience and attend an approved regional or national clinic.
In order to be eligible to judge a regional meet in 2005 in Region 8, a judge must have in-gym experience. A judge must complete at least nine hours of in-gym experience between 6/16/03 and 6/15/04.
Requirements for the in-gym experience can be found on the In-Gym Card.
In order to be considered to judge Level 10, 9 or 8 Regionals, you must have attended at least one regional or national clinic from the following list:

2004 USA Gymnastics National Congress, 2004 Region 8 Congress, 2004 Level 9/10 Training Camp. |

If you wish to have any other clinic(s) considered, you must submit your request in writing to Marian Dykes for approval. Please list the date, site, instructors and what this experience afforded you. |
The completed in-gym ard must be received by June 15, 2004. You will receive confirmation via email (or in writing if you do not have email) within ten days of receipt. If you do not receive confirmation of receipt, please contact me immediately.
The judges selected will be notified. The final list of judges for each regional meet will be published in the regional newsletter and on this Webpage.
