A Java DTD Parser |
|
DTDParser LicensesDTDParser is licensed under either an Apache-style license or the Lesser GPL (LGPL) license. You may use it freely in commercial and non-commercial products. Using DTDParser in a commercial product does NOT force your commercial product to become GPL'ed. The main difference between the Apache-style license and the LGPL license is that the LGPL license prevents you from creating a commercial DTD Parser library based on this library. Under the Apache-style license, you can create and distribute a commercial DTD Parser library based on this code as long as you provide a notice in the documentation that says you used this code. Neither of the two licenses restrict you from creating a commercial product that uses the library. The only time DTD Parser LGPL restricts you to a non-commercial product is when your product is a DTD parser.
